Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 30, 2026

Blog Dice (“we”, “us”, or “the Site”) provides a curated reading experience for independent blog content. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you visit the Site, create an account, sign in, or subscribe to an author.

Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account with an email address and password, we process your email address and an account identifier. Authentication credentials and sessions are managed by Supabase; Blog Dice does not store your password in its own application database.

If you choose to sign in with a third-party provider such as GitHub or Google, we receive the basic account information that the provider and Supabase make available for authentication, which may include your provider account identifier, email address, name, and avatar. We do not receive your GitHub or Google password.

Subscription information

When you subscribe to an author, we store your account identifier, email address, the author you subscribed to, and relevant timestamps. We use this information to provide and manage your subscriptions.

Browser and usage information

Authentication session information is stored in your browser so that you can remain signed in. Temporary browser storage may also be used to return you to the page you intended to visit after authentication.

Articles may contain images, embeds, or links hosted by the original publisher or another third party. Loading or following those resources may disclose information such as your IP address and browser information to that third party, under its own privacy policy.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • create and authenticate accounts;
  • provide author subscription features;
  • maintain account and Site security;
  • diagnose errors and prevent abuse;
  • understand and improve Site performance and content; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

Service providers

We rely on service providers to operate parts of the Site. Supabase provides authentication services. GitHub or Google participates in authentication when you choose the corresponding sign-in method. Infrastructure, database, email-delivery, and analytics providers may process limited information on our behalf to provide their services.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Retention and security

We retain account and subscription information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security and operational records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may sign out at any time. You may also unsubscribe from authors through the Site. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the latest changes took effect.
