Zach Holman is an entrepreneur, angel investor, and software engineer based in San Francisco.

He joined GitHub in 2010 as their second engineering hire, helping shape its core product, engineering practices, and company culture as the company grew from nine employees to 250. He also advised GitLab prior to its IPO.

Today, he is the founder of Signed and Calendearing, and actively invests in startups through Tifo. On his personal website zachholman.com, he writes candid, insightful essays on startup culture, software craftsmanship, venture capital, and engineering leadership.
