He began his career as an entrepreneur by co-founding Loopt in 2005, joined Y Combinator as a partner, and succeeded Paul Graham as President in 2014, guiding hundreds of transformative startups including Stripe, Airbnb, and Reddit. As co-founder and CEO of OpenAI, he has been at the forefront of the global artificial intelligence transformation, leading the development of breakthrough systems like ChatGPT, GPT-4, and reasoning models.
