Nikita Prokopov (widely known online as tonsky) is a Berlin-based software engineer, UI/UX architect, and Clojure consultant celebrated for his relentless dedication to software craftsmanship and performance.

He is the creator of several widely acclaimed developer tools and libraries, most notably Fira Code—the ubiquitous programming typeface featuring programming ligatures—as well as the immutable in-memory database DataScript, the experimental native desktop UI framework Humble UI, Rum, and AnyBar. His work bridges the gap between systems thinking, typographic design, and native interface development.
